Let's chat 'skills'

Speaking at one of the Masterclass sessions at the Federation of Master Builders Business Conference in Lincoln on 13th September, Annie brought her experience as Chair of the FMB Training Group.

Entitled 'Using Skills to future proof your business', Annie shared the experiences of Kisiel Group on how they have upskilled their team to improve their business performance and to enable their employees to be more effective within their roles. This has been supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) through their Skills and Training Fund. Kisiel Group have successfully applied for funding three times to support this training.

The session then opened up to some interesting questions on how we can all benefit from both upskilling existing employees and developing our future workforce by taking on apprentices who will become the Master Builders of the future.
