100Km Challenge in February for Mental Health Charity

Annie swapped her construction boots for a pair of walking boots.  Although she would consider herself a reluctant fair-weather walker, a colleague inspired her to walk 100km during February.  Well, she picked the shortest month and the worst weather to take on this challenge!

Experiencing all weathers, except for a heatwave, Annie logged her daily walks on the Just Giving fundraising page and included a photograph to show her supporters where she had been exploring in her local area during lockdown.

Annie says she decided to support the Lighthouse Club for her fundraising efforts.  "As going out for a daily walk is good for your mental health, I thought it would be good to raise some money at the same time for the Lighthouse Club to help support their  FREE 24 /7 helpline for construction workers and their families in need of emotional and financial support."
